KIIT ENTRANCE EXAMINAION (KIITEE)-2008

KIIT Entrance Examination (KIITEE), the All India Entrance Examination conducted by KIIT University, Bhubaneswar for admission into B. Tech, M. Tech, MCA, M. Sc and PhD Courses of the University will be held on 3rd and 4th May, 2008 in 100 centres across India and also 10 centres abroad.

Eligibility: Bachelor of Technology (BTech) (4 Year) in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Tele. Communication, Computer Science, Information Technology & Electronics and Electrical Engineering: Pass in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and having at least 50% marks in aggregate. Date of birth should be on or after 1st July, 1987.

Lateral Entry Bachelor of Technology (BTech) (LE - 4 Year): Pass in three years Diploma course in Engineering in requisite discipline with 60% marks in aggregate. Date of Birth should be on or after 1st July, 1984.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA); Pass in 10+2 with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Date of birth should be on or after 1st July, 1987.

Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA); Pass in 10+2 with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Date of birth should be on or after 1st July, 1987.

Integrated MSC (Biotechnology - 5 Year) Pass in 10+2 having 50% marks in aggregate with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology. Date of birth should be on or after 1st July, 1987.'

Master of Computer Application (MCA) (3 Year): Any Graduate with minimum 50% marks in graduation or equivalent having Mathematics either in 10+2 or graduation level as one of the subject. Date of birth should be on or after 1st July, 1982.

Date of Examination; 03, 05.2008 (Saturday)

Master of Technology (MTech) (2 Year) in Computer Science, Electronics & Telecomm, Electrical - Power Electronics & Drives, Mechanical -Manufacturing Process & System, Civil - Construction Engineering & Management: First Class B.E. / B.Tech. or equivalent Degree in respective branches of Engineering and Technology or First Class MCA/ First Class MSc. in Computer Science / IT / Electronics. No age bar.

MSc (Biotechnology) 2 Year; Bachelor's Degree in any Branch of Science / Agriculture / Pharmacy / Veterinary I Engineering / Medicine (M88SIBDS) with at least 55% marks. Date of birth should be on or after 1st July, 1982.

MSc (Microbiology) 2 Year; Bachelor's Degree in any Branch of Science / Agriculture / Pharmacy / Veterinary I Engineering / Medicine (M88SIBDS) with at least 55% marks. Date of birth should be on or after 1st July, 1982.

Ph.D. in Science, Technology, Engineering, Management, Humanities and Social Science, (For availability of Subject and Department, please go through the website www.Kiites.ac.in ): M.Tech. / ME / MCA / MBA or an equivalent Degree with minimum 60% marks or an equivalent CGPA or M.Sc. / MA / M.Corn. / LLM or an equivalent degree with minimum 55% marks or an equivalent CGPA. No age bar. Short listed Candidates will be called for Interview/Presentation within 60 days of application.

Candidates appearing for the Qualifying Examination in 2008 are also eligible to apply

How To Apply: Cost of Application Form (Inclusive of examination fees)
University Counters : Rs 700/-, Bank / Post Office Counters : Rs.725/- and By Post: Rs.775/- in form of DO, (Candidates can send DO of Rs.775/- in favour of KIIT to the Admission Cell of the University for collecting the Prospectus by post.)

On Line Application: Candidates can also apply online through KIIT website. Online Application will be accepted after receipt of (1) DD of Rs.700/- in favour of KIIT. (Write the Application number and Candidate's name in the backside of the OD) (2) Printout of Registration Form signed by Father/Mother/Guardian and the Candidate (3) Two passports size photographs.
