PGDBA Indo-German Training Centre admissions 2008 opens

The Indo-German Training Centre (IGTC) is a training initiative of the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce (IGCC), which is registered under Section 25 of the Companies' Act 1956. IGCC has not sought approval from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) for conducting the Post Graduate Program in Business Administration

Eligibility
Fresh / experienced graduates and company-sponsored candidates with over 50% aggregate marks can apply. Students appearing for their final year examination in April - May, 2008 may also apply. They will need to produce documentary evidence of having passed the examination with a minimum of 50% before commencement of the program, failing which their admission will be cancelled and no refund of fees will be given.

Stage II: Personal Interview

The partnering member companies select their desired trainees from a diverse application pool of bright engineering, science, commerce, business management and arts graduates, who could be groomed to meet the company requirements for future managerial talent. As a part of the absolutely unique selection process, every meritorious applicant faces an interview panel comprising of multiple companies, while some of them even face multiple rounds of interviews to obtain a training place in the company. At the end of the interviewing process, participating companies give their final endorsements for their preferred trainees, based on which the candidates are admitted to IGTC.

*The selection criteria is purely merit based and as per the requirements of the participating training companies. The decision of the IGTC Director on all admission matters is final and binding. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained. Any grievance/dispute arising thereof falls only within the jurisdiction of the High Court of Mumbai in the State of Maharashtra. In case, due to exigency of situation, the centre is required to make any changes to the program, such changes will be displayed on our website / office notice board, which will be considered as final.

Program Fee

Total Fees for the 18-month program Rs. 1,75,000/-
To be paid in 2 installments:

l. On admission to the program Rs. 1,00,000/-
ll. Before commencement of 3rd theory phase Rs. 75,000/-

*Fees once paid will not be refunded.
*Fees are subject to change without any prior notice. It is mandatory for students to carry their own laptop at IGTC, especially as it has been much more convenient during the practical training phase at the assigned company. The centre will assist the students for the same, if required.

Note: Reputed banks sanction study loans for full fee amount to IGTC students. The terms and conditions of such loans are kept simple and do not require collateral guarantee.

How to apply

Students can download the application form by www.igtcindia.com or alternatively purchase the application form from any of the Indo-German Training Centres or Indo-German Chamber of Commerce offices. The cost of the application form and prospectus is Rs. 1000/-. Payments are accepted in cash/demand draft only drawn in favor of ‘Indo-German Training Centre’. All forms must be returned clearly indicating the preferred location – Mumbai, Chennai or Bangalore – to the respective Centres.
