CRISIL Certified Analyst Programme 2009

CRISIL Certified Analyst Programme:

CCAP is a two-year intensive entry level programme. It combines coursework, job assignments and interactive seminars that equip the learner with exceptional financial and business skills. The programme is aimed at developing world-class financial professionals for Analyst positions in CRISIL.

CCAP Differentiators:

CRISIL believes that there are four essential capabilities required in an individual to be a successful professional in the financial services industry. They are:

» Excellent analytical capability
» In-depth knowledge of finance
» Good communication and presentation skills
» Good inter-personal and leadership skills

The CCAP structure has been arrived at after a thorough research of the existing curriculum of MBA, CA, CFA and ICWA programmes apart from the Indian and global business needs. It encompasses equipping interns with the capabilities enumerated above, in addition to providing hands-on, on-the-job training. This ensures that each CCAP intern is highly capable of succeeding within CRISIL as well as elsewhere in the industry.

CCAP Faculty :
The programme will be led by the best faculty handpicked from the top business schools along with senior CRISIL professionals and industry experts.

CCAP Eligibility Criteria:

The minimum requirement for admission to the Programme is:

» 1. A bachelor's degree with at least 50 percent marks or the equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA). Candidates appearing for the final year bachelor's degree/equivalent examination may also apply.
» 2. The candidate must have taken CAT (Common Admission Test conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management) held in 2007/2008 or XAT (Xavier's Admission Test

conducted by XLRI, Jamshedpur) held in 2008/2009. In case the candidate has not appeared/applied for any of these exams, they will be required to appear for the CRISIL Online Aptitude Test.
» 3. The candidate should be born on or after 1st January 1982.


Note: Candidates who are in the final year of graduation must produce a certificate from the Principal/Head of the Department/Registrar/Director of the University/Institution certifying that the candidate has obtained 50 percent marks or equivalent based on the latest grades/marks. Such candidates, if selected, will be allowed to join the programme provisionally only if they submit a certificate latest by May 20, 2009 from the Principal/ Registrar of their College/ Institute stating that they have completed all the requirements (the results may, however, be awaited) for obtaining the bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification. Their admission will be confirmed only when they submit their mark sheet and a certificate of having passed their bachelor's degree/ equivalent qualification with at least 50 percent marks. The deadline for submission of mark sheets and certificate is December 31, 2009. Non-fulfillment of this condition will automatically result in the cancellation of the provisional admission.

Batch Size:

The intake for the third batch will be 40 interns.

CCAP Course Fees:

CRISIL does not charge any course fees for the programme apart from the application fees of Rs.1,000/-.

Application Process:

Aspiring interns can apply online at www.crisil.com/ccap for admission to the programme. Upon successfully filling the online basic information form the application form can be downloaded. The applicant must print out a copy of the application form, fill it and mail it to: The Programme Leader, CRISIL Certified Analyst Programme, CRISIL House, 121-122, Andheri-Kurla Road, Andheri (East), Mumbai - 400 093, accompanied by an application fee (non-refundable) of Rs. 1000/- in the form of a Demand Draft favouring CRISIL Limited and payable at Mumbai. On receipt of the DD for the required amount and the payment advice form, candidates will receive an acknowledgement of acceptance of the application.


Alternately, forms can also be purchased at CRISIL House in Mumbai. The last date for sale and submission of forms is February 6, 2009.

CRISIL Online Aptitude Test:

The CRISIL Online Aptitude Test will be based on CAT pattern and will be an online test conducted across 17 locations in the country. The test will also include an essay to be written in 15 minutes. The test will be held at 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM from March 1 and March 8, 2009 at all the test centers.
