It's a complete crap. Don't waste your money here. They will trap you like rat and you will become a slave. I talked with a girl pursuing this course. The review was very bad. I talked with few of her classmates also, Their knowledge was worse then a script kiddie.

Its not a crap, I have also completed my course from MIEL itself and today I am working as a Security Engineer.
Also If you want you can share the details of the institute from where you have completed your training.
I did the same course and today am working in an MNC as a Security Consultant. Where did you do this programme and which year
@Ravi and @Sachin : Both the comments on same day shows on behalf of whom you are writing. I am not a student of MIEL. I came to know about this course from a group of MIEL students I met while I was in Mumbai. I went to there office and inquired about the course. Then I came to know the truth. Lets analyze few things :
1)Stringent entry test : According to MIEL, there is a stringent test to get admission in PRISM. The group of guys I met have couple of students who are not from computer background. I talked with them and They were not knowing even abcd of computer. How they passed the so called "Stringent entry test."
2)Check there prospecteus. In the second last page of there propectus, they have shown the jobs they have provided to their students. Just check the job profiles. If a person know anything about security industry, he will understand how they are fooling. It's just impossible to give a job of project manger, Auditor etc. They are complete cheat.
I don't have much time otherwise I would have written the complete story. May be next time.

hahahahahahaha. It's a joke from MIEL. They don't have lab for students. They have library with 12-15 books. Any student want to take admission , tell them to show the students lab and students library. You will understand. Just check their syllabus books. I have seen only one book. That was for forensic. Complete crap. My suggestion : Stay away from MIEL(atleast for the PRISM course).
I was thinking to take admission in PRISM next year but after reading yash's comments, I have to reconsider. If they are lying about the course and placements, It's no point to take admission there. But I will confirm first. Can't believe a comment from internet.
After reading all this , I am also very confused. One of my friend is also pursuing PRISM from MIEL. He was very happy about the course. It was 4-5 months back. I will talk with him and update here.
well i also went for enquiry at miel mumbai branch , they were ready to take me without entrance test, my friend is pursuing prism course from miel lets see, if he gets a good job or not.

boss but when i contacted them they told that they would give in writing about the job on their letter head.but i fail to understand one thing why are they charging 2.5 lacs for this course. can any one please guide me

MIEL is not CRAP.
First and foremost a very helpful blog to start.Most of my friends who did prism are doing well but apart from that which other pvt institutes are offering such courses.I know Appin does but most of its reviews are negative.

Yes Mr. Anonymous, when I have to spend 2.5 lakh, I do a lot of R&D. May be 2.5 lakh is not a big amount for you. And since I have done R&D, I have every right to write. Guys be practical, don't listen to this Anonymous. Go and meet few of their current students personally, not in front of MIEL employees. You will listen two different versions from students, completely opposite. In front of MIEL employee, they ll say the course is excellent. When you talk with them personally, they ll say just opposite. They are claiming excellent lab facilities. Just go and check do they have a lab? I did all this. And believe me guys, review from current students are very bad. And if anybody can show me lab in MIEL academy , I will give him party in Tunga. Just in front of MIEL academy. Just mail me any time, if you find a lab there.
well lab is not tht important yaar, coz they ask students to have there laptops and they give u written agreement for job which is legal. i found out. few instiues like appin also give this course but it is not worth.
Guys...but y do they charge so much money....I am also in a catch 22 situation ryt nw cuz I have jst a few days 2 take a decision.

the course is not crap. its good to enter into information security industry.I am working at tech mahindra as security consultant.I am a PRISM student..
Plz don't go for this course since this lady is on job,Once you meet the Head of Business Dovelopment,Pathetic,Behave like Illiterate,how she behave/Speak ??You don't even imagin..Does not have manners 'how to speak with there staff and student's.it was sunday ,i was went there with my family after taking proper appointment and informed them ,that i was there with my family ,instead we were wait for a hour for meeting and she insulted both of us infront of all because i ask her to make a case study on chq dispute case and present to higher management..and discussion on Legal agreement. i did not find any student care no. or grievence no. on MIEL site so If any one have the email id of MD of the company ,kindly provide me ,i want to complain her with the Management so that MIEL can recruite the good staff for boost the business other wise these non experiance staff will close the centres.Now i cancel my admission and stop my payment.Thanks God, i Save my money.(the information is my personel views, if MIEL authroity will talk to me then plz take my No from Shreyas,Sorry for Spelling/Grammer Mistake if any )

The thing is that yash is speaking the truth. I personally inquired about them and they are total frauds. Its just a total waste of money and time. so please guyz be aware of them.
