MT-CET 2013 Application Process

MT-CET 2013 admission to first year of four year full time degree courses in Engineering / Technology and Pharmacy in the State of Maharashtra, Maharashtra Technical Common Entrance Test (MT-CET 2013) shall be conducted by the Government of Maharashtra. The Director, Technical Education, Mumbai is the Competent Authority for conduction of MT-CET 2013.

The MT-CET 2013 examination is scheduled on Thursday, 16th May 2013. The examination centers shall be at all district headquarters of Maharashtra state.

The qualifying examination is HSC (Std. XII) or its equivalent examination with conditions for eligibility as defined in the respective brochure(s).

The fee for MT-CET 2013 including Information Brochure along with Application Kit is Rs 700/- (Rupees Seven Hundred Only) for General category Candidates and Rs 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred Only) for Backward Class Category candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only.

Maharashtra State candidates appearing for HSC (12th Std.) or equivalent examination desire to appear for the MT-CET 2013 will receive their Application kit with Information Brochure from their respective Junior College / School ( from where they have passed / appearing qualifying examination). Such candidates shall submit the printout of Online Application Form to his/her School/Junior College. The school/Junior College shall submit it to respective Notified College.

The candidates who have passed/appeared HSC (12th Std.) or equivalent examination from Outside Maharashtra and MKB (Maharashtra Karnataka Disputed Border Area) candidates can purchase Application Kit and Information brochure of MT-CET 2013 from any Notified College as mentioned in Annexure A by submitting Demand Draft of Rs 700/- drawn in favor of "Director, Technical Education, Mumbai" payable at Mumbai , drawn on any Nationalized/Scheduled/Commercial Bank.These candidates can submit the printout of Online Application Form to any of the notified college.

2.Mandatory details (Same as mentioned above) includes Hall ticket number of qualifying examination, Name of the Candidate, Candidate's Father Name, Date of Birth of the Candidate, Hall Ticket number of S.S.C(10th Class), Mobile number and Stream applying for.
3.After entering the details above, Click on the " Make Payment " Button and proceed to fill the online application form.
4.During the payment process don't click the Back/Refresh buttons or don't close the browser page abruptly.
5.After successful payment through Debit/Credit Card, a "Transaction Id" is generated and displayed on the screen. Then proceed to fill the online application.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi is the conducting body for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG). CBSE will conduct the NEET-UG exam for Undergraduate Medical / Dental courses admissions.

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate Medical / Dental courses like MBBS/BDS admissions across the country. In order to be eligible for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses for a particular academic year, it shall be necessary for a candidate to obtain minimum marks in ‘National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test' held for the said academic year besides obtaining minimum prescribed marks at the qualifying examination.

All admissions to MBBS/BDS courses within the respective categories shall be based solely on marks obtained in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test.

The NEET (UG) Entrance Examination shall consist of one paper containing 180 objective type questions (four options with single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology).
